Payment Plans and Financing
Better hearing should not be a financial cliff. ACI Hearing Center works with Cherry, CareCredit, and PowerPay so most patients walk out with a monthly payment they can live with. Zero percent APR promotional plans available for qualified applicants. FSA and HSA eligible.
Treatment plans at ACI Hearing Center range from $4,500 to $7,500. Each plan includes:
The price range covers different technology tiers, feature sets, and manufacturer choices. Your Doctor of Audiology will match a plan to your hearing loss, your lifestyle, and your budget. We put the full number in writing before you commit. No surprise fees.
Lyric extended-wear is a subscription and is billed separately from the standard treatment plan. See our Lyric hearing aids page for subscription details.
Cherry offers online pre-qualification with a soft credit check, meaning it does not affect your credit score. Approval decisions come back in minutes. Cherry plans typically run from 3 months to 24 months, with 0 percent APR promotional plans available for qualified applicants on shorter terms. Apply from your phone in the waiting room if you want.
CareCredit is the largest healthcare financing network in the US, with millions of cardholders. If you already have a CareCredit card for dental, vision, or veterinary work, you can use it for hearing aids at ACI. Promotional financing is available with 0 percent APR terms of 6, 12, 18, or 24 months on qualifying purchases. Longer 36 to 60 month plans at reduced APR are also offered.
PowerPay is often the best option for patients who prefer longer terms with predictable fixed monthly payments. Terms up to 60 months are common. Rates depend on your credit profile, and pre-qualification uses a soft credit check that does not affect your score. Good option if you want the lowest monthly payment.
Which one is right for you? Cherry and CareCredit are the go-to for 0 percent APR promotional windows. PowerPay is the go-to for longest term and lowest monthly payment. Your ACI provider can pre-qualify you with all three during your appointment, and you pick the offer that fits best.
These are approximate figures for a $6,000 treatment plan. Actual monthly payments depend on the financing partner, your credit profile, current promotional windows, and the term you choose. Ranges shown are typical for qualified applicants as of mid-2026.
| Term | Approximate monthly payment | Interest / notes |
|---|---|---|
| 12 months | ~$500 | 0% APR promo (Cherry / CareCredit) if qualified |
| 18 months | ~$334 | 0% APR promo if qualified |
| 24 months | ~$250 | 0% APR promo if qualified |
| 36 months | ~$185 to $210 | Reduced APR terms |
| 48 months | ~$145 to $170 | Standard APR |
| 60 months | ~$120 to $145 | Standard APR (PowerPay common) |
Figures shown are illustrative only. Actual APR and monthly payment depend on lender, applicant credit profile, and current promotional windows. ACI Hearing Center is not the lender and does not set these rates.
Before you finance a dollar, we verify what your insurance will pay. Sometimes it is more than you expect.
ACI verifies your specific plan and gives you the out-of-pocket cost in writing before you decide.
Hearing aids are listed as a qualified medical expense in IRS Publication 502. That means you can use pre-tax money from:
Eligible expenses at ACI include the hearing aids themselves, the diagnostic hearing evaluation, the real-ear measurement fitting, follow-up adjustments, batteries, and consumable supplies.
Tax tip. Save the itemized receipt from ACI. If you paid out of pocket rather than through FSA or HSA, hearing aid expenses may still be deductible as unreimbursed medical expenses if they exceed 7.5 percent of your adjusted gross income. Consult your tax professional.
ACI Hearing Center offers a 60-day trial on standard treatment plans. Take the hearing aids home. Wear them at church, at the restaurant, at the grandkids' recital. If they do not work for you within 60 days, you can return them for a refund minus any restocking fee disclosed in your written agreement.
If you financed through Cherry, CareCredit, or PowerPay and return the hearing aids, ACI works with the lender to cancel or adjust the loan. You are not stuck with monthly payments on devices you returned.
Lyric subscription hearing aids are billed separately and are non-refundable once fitted (the device is designed for extended in-canal wear). See the Lyric page for details.
ACI Hearing Center gives you the full price in writing before you commit. No mystery fees. Book a diagnostic hearing evaluation and get pre-qualified for financing in one visit. Serving Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, Carencro, Scott, and all of Acadiana.
