Call to schedule your consultationWhat a treatment plan is (and is not)
A treatment plan is our complete-care package. It is not the sticker price of a hearing aid. It is the professional care, the fitting, the follow-up, and the ongoing support that actually make hearing aids work in your real life.
Selling a pair of hearing aids without the care is like selling a knee replacement without physical therapy. The device is only part of the outcome. That is why we price by treatment plan instead of per hearing aid: everything you need to hear better is bundled into one price, and you are never surprised by a bill later.
Our treatment plans at ACI Hearing Center range from $4,500 to $7,500 and include binaural hearing aids (both ears), a real-ear measurement fitting, follow-up adjustments, cleanings, and our care commitment for the life of your devices. Where you land in that range depends on the technology level and lifestyle needs, not the brand you pick.
What is included in every treatment plan
Binaural hearing aids
Two prescription hearing aids, one for each ear, from any of the eight brands we fit.
Comprehensive hearing test
Full diagnostic evaluation by a Doctor of Audiology, not a screening.
Real-ear measurement fitting
Devices are programmed to the sound reaching your eardrum, not a factory average.
45-day satisfaction trial
Wear the aids in your real life. If they are not right, we adjust or refund.
3-year manufacturer warranty
Full parts and labor coverage, plus loss and damage coverage that rides with the plan.
Unlimited follow-up visits
Come back as often as you need. Fine-tuning is a process, not one appointment.
Unlimited cleanings and reprogramming
As your hearing changes, we reprogram. As earwax accumulates, we clean.
Care commitment for the life of your devices
We stand behind the outcome. If your hearing aids are not working for you, we fix it.
Three technology levels, one care commitment
All three technology levels include the same care package. The difference is the chip inside the hearing aid and how well it handles complex listening environments. We help you pick the level based on how you actually live.
| Technology level | Best for | Price range | What is different |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Quieter lifestyles: home, small groups, phone, TV | Starting at $4,500 | Solid speech clarity in everyday environments. Reliable Bluetooth. Fewer automatic scene programs. |
| Advanced | Active lifestyles: restaurants, meetings, church, driving | $5,500 to $6,500 | Stronger noise handling. More automatic scene changes. Better clarity in busy places. |
| Premium | Demanding lifestyles: large groups, music, outdoor sports, professional use | $6,500 to $7,500 | Top-tier chip. Handles the widest range of listening environments without you touching the aid. |
The technology level is chosen after your hearing test and lifestyle conversation. Most patients land in Advanced.
Insurance and financing
We file insurance directly with:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana
- United Healthcare
- Humana Medicare Advantage
- Louisiana Medicaid (patients under 21)
- Most self-funded employer plans
If your plan includes a hearing aid benefit, we file it directly and reduce your out-of-pocket cost. Call us with your card and we will check benefits before your visit.
For financing we work with Cherry, CareCredit, and PowerPay. Terms range from 6 to 60 months with 0 percent promotional rates for qualified applicants. Cherry approvals often come back in under 60 seconds. We help you fill out the application at your visit.
Why treatment-plan pricing is better than per-device pricing
Some hearing aid retailers advertise a single device price and then charge separately for the fitting, the programming, follow-up visits, cleanings, and adjustments. That model works for them. It does not work for you.
Here is what actually happens when you buy hearing aids per device:
- Fitting appointment: extra charge.
- Return visit at 2 weeks because the aids feel too sharp: extra charge.
- Reprogramming after 6 months because your hearing shifted a little: extra charge.
- Wax cleaning at 3 months: extra charge.
- Change in insurance: navigate it yourself.
Under the treatment-plan model, every one of those is included. You never pay per visit. You never get a surprise bill for a cleaning. You call us, you come in, you get what you need. That is what "care commitment for the life of your devices" actually means.

What is a hearing aid treatment plan at ACI Hearing Center?
A treatment plan is our complete-care package. It is not just the sticker price of a hearing aid. Our treatment plans at ACI Hearing Center range from $4,500 to $7,500 and include binaural hearing aids (both ears), a real-ear measurement fitting, follow-up adjustments, cleanings, and our care commitment for the life of your devices. You are paying for professional care and results, not just the box the device came in.
What is actually included in a treatment plan?
Every plan includes: two hearing aids (one for each ear), your comprehensive hearing test, a real-ear measurement fitting so the devices are programmed to your ear canal, a 45-day satisfaction trial, a 3-year manufacturer warranty, loss and damage coverage, unlimited follow-up visits, unlimited cleanings, unlimited reprogramming as your hearing changes, and our care commitment for the life of your devices. If a hearing aid ever needs service, you bring it in and we take care of it.
Why do you price by treatment plan instead of per hearing aid?
Because a hearing aid alone does not solve hearing loss. The fitting, the follow-up, and the ongoing care do. Selling you a pair of devices without the care is like selling you a knee replacement without physical therapy. We put professional care first, and that is why we price by treatment plan. Everything you need to hear better is in one bundled price.
What are the three technology levels and how do I know which one I need?
Essential technology starts around $4,500 and fits quieter lifestyles: mostly home, small groups, phone, and TV. Advanced technology runs $5,500 to $6,500 and fits active lifestyles: restaurants, meetings, church, driving. Premium technology runs $6,500 to $7,500 and fits the most demanding lifestyles: large groups, live music, outdoor sports, or heavy professional use. We help you pick the level based on how you actually live, not what sounds fancy.
Can I get just one hearing aid instead of two?
If you have hearing loss in only one ear, yes. But if you have hearing loss in both ears, we strongly recommend binaural fitting. Two ears give you sound direction, better speech clarity in noise, and less brain fatigue. The research is clear on this. Single-sided plans are priced individually. Ask us at your consultation.
Do I own the hearing aids at the end of the plan?
Yes. You own the hearing aids from Day 1. The treatment plan is a bundled care package, not a rental or a subscription. The warranty and care commitment stay with the plan for the life of the devices.
What happens after the 3-year warranty runs out?
Your care commitment continues. Follow-up visits, cleanings, and programming adjustments stay included. If a device needs a paid repair after warranty ends, we quote the repair before we do it and you decide. Most hearing aids last 5 to 7 years total with good care.
What insurance do you accept at ACI Hearing Center?
We file directly with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, United Healthcare, Humana Medicare Advantage, and Louisiana Medicaid (for patients under 21). We also file with most self-funded employer plans. If your plan has a hearing aid benefit, we file it directly and reduce your out of pocket. Call us with your card and we will check benefits before your visit.
Does traditional Medicare cover hearing aids?
Traditional Medicare Part B does not cover hearing aids or fitting. It covers the diagnostic hearing test if your doctor orders it. Most Medicare Advantage plans (Humana, Aetna, United, and others) do include a hearing aid benefit, usually between $500 and $2,500 per plan year. We will check your specific benefit before your visit.
What financing is available?
We offer Cherry, CareCredit, and PowerPay financing. Terms typically range from 6 to 60 months with 0 percent promotional rates for qualified applicants. Cherry approvals often come back in under 60 seconds. We help you fill out the application at the visit.
How is a treatment plan different from a $99 over-the-counter hearing aid?
Over-the-counter hearing aids are a starting point for very mild hearing loss and no professional support. Our treatment plans are for people who need real hearing correction and real care. A treatment plan gets you prescription-strength devices programmed to your exact hearing test, a real-ear measurement fitting that confirms the sound reaching your eardrum, and unlimited follow-up to keep them dialed in as your hearing changes. If your hearing loss is mild and you just want to try something, OTC is fine. If you need to hear better in restaurants, at church, or on the phone, you need the treatment plan model.
